Rotting chunks of whale carcass fall off truck into traffic

Huge sections of a sperm whale's vertebrae and what appeared to be a piece of its jawbone fell from a pickup truck into a major intersection in Hawaii while being transported for study. The pieces had been salvaged from the decomposing carcass of a whale beached on the other side of the island.
